For 49 years, Whataburger’s been serving fresh, made-to-order burgers in Oklahoma. The first Oklahoma Whataburger opened in 1970 in Oklahoma City, and the brand has since expanded to 33 restaurants in the state. Oklahoma feels like home and that’s why we put families and communities at the heart of all we do. Not only is it part of our brand values, but we also employ more than 1,660 people in our local restaurants. Whataburger proudly supports and sponsors several community organizations with food, volunteers, in-kind donations and fundraisers such as the local Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Walk for Autism Oklahoma, Bixby High School Band and Athletic programs, the Tulsa Drillers and Tulsa Oilers.
