The Bixby Outreach Center is opening a non-profit thrift store and grand opening is scheduled for March 8th! The store is called Thrifty Threads and will have donated, gently used, items for sale with all prices under $10, and most items between $1-$5! Their hope is to serve a larger part of the community with affordable clothing for men, women and children. It will also allow for groups to have the opportunity to come in and volunteer. All funds that are raised will go back into the programs and services that are provided by the BOC. The Bixby Outreach Center is a 501c3 that provides basic needs assistance with dignity and respect to our local community. In addition to a food pantry, the BOC also offers seasonal services such as holiday meals, Christmas gift shop, school supplies, and summer meals for kids. Thrifty Threads is located at 11 W Dawes in the heart of downtown Bixby! They will be open Monday-Saturday 10-6 pm and some later nights when there are events going on downtown.
